EMDR THERAPY

I have practiced EMDR therapy for over 10 years. It tends to be my go to therapy for people who experienced trauma. When one experiences trauma. one can feel lost in a deep, dark woods. Where is safety? What happened to the me I was? EMDR is a path of healing through those woods.
What is EMDR therapy? EMDR Canada writes: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a type of therapy that helps individuals with concerns, whether they stem from the past, present or future, to feel better now. It is a collaborative process that does not require an individual to share their entire story or to share details of the traumatic event/s. It is effective across cultures, and ethnicities, from children to adults and seniors.
